I got a rejection for "Old Friends". Actually they dissected the story opening, which is not a bad thing - when I get over the usual rejection part of the thing it will probably be quite useful! One of the editors really liked it though, which is good. The rest of them hated it!

Still. Boo, hiss. :D

I've got a new phrase = "rejection mourning"

Back to work on the novel.

I will give it a rework I expect. I'm stuck well into the first draft of the new novel at the moment so I will probably push the story to the back burner for now. I really want to get this finished and then find the where-with-all to rewrite once I can put To Regain Heaven aside for a bit.

Anyway, that's the plan for now.
