Having a lazy day so far. Going to head into Dublin shortly with the Boy Wonder to look at the bog bodies in the museum, visit some bookshops, and some other shops if we have time/patience and meet my best friend E for lunch. Many the bribe will be offered, I expect! ;)

And... [livejournal.com profile] wyvernfriend  reviewed The Scroll Thief!

Yay!

Hey, Happy birthday. Hope you have a fine time....bodies in a bog? must have been some party LOL

Thanks!

Sadly the museum was closed so we didn't see the bog bodies, much to the small boy's disappointment. He's seen them before. I told him they were models the first time so he wouldn't be scared and he gave me that "You're so gullible, of course they're real" look the moment we came out again.

I have to keep editing that review until I really like it but still it's a skeleton.

BTW it's the first of your books on librarything... is there an offical biography that I can add to your writer details? Also is there somewhere I can get a copy of the cover I can add to the currently quite naked book?

Also did you know that as a published writer Librarything want you [look about 2/3 of the way down the posts] (I don't get paid by these guys though sometimes I wonder if I should!).

Cool! I'll look into joining.

In the meantime, you could get a copy of the cover from my website (www.rflong.com), or the Samhain website (http://samhainpublishing.com/books/the-scroll-thief). Bio and other stuff are also there. :)

Fun!

Oh and to add, if you're ever published in dead tree version, this side of the pond, Dublin City is the IJFRS (see Kerry's Library Services for info just in case you're wondering) holders of L & M fiction!

Should be out in print in December. I already have a few author copies earmarked for my local library serives! ;) I've benefitted from 3 county library services so far in my life and worked for one of them.

Thanks. But still pouting that I forgot the museum is closed on Mondays. *pout*

Oh blast! I hadn't thought of it either.

...and neither had any of the other commenters, it seems...

I hope you had a nice day in town anyway :-)

We did and we'll get back another day.

Are you going to be around on Saturday? - wyvernfriend, myself and hopefully some others will be in the Library Bar of the Central Hotel from 2 for hot chocolate and chats.
