You know the image of trying to put an octopus in an orange net making sure that none of the tentacles poke out of any of the holes?

This is trying to write the end of Moy Tura Echoes.

*sigh*

(and to a lesser extent The Wolf's Mate - now try doing both of them at once *double sigh*)

I think you're making life difficult for yourself there! Although I suppose you can always flee from one to the other if you get stuck. As long as that doesn't make you hover between them like a cat with a slice of toast on its back.
And I know the octopus feeling, I've got a lot of characters running around in Reunion at present, and I'd rather not solve the problem by killing a bunch of them.

I know. I'm not making it easy on myself here - but where's the fun in that?

I had hoped to finish The Wolf's Mate over Christmas, but then got a breakthrough on Moy Tura Echoes so now they are both "talking" to me! It's all abit multiple personality disorder at the moment.

Getting there. Slooooooooooooowly. I am forcing myself to finish The Wolf's Mate first as I am nearer the end there. Two/Three more scenes I think, but I noted down everything that needs to happen by the end of Moy Tura this morning and eh... yeah... octopus + orange net.

Two or three scenes isn't too bad, unless they're long scenes. And on the topic of nearly finishing The Wolf's mate, woohoo!

The Christmas break was a time of not writing what we thought we should be for a lot of us, I think. I didn't get what I wanted done either, and now all the new stories are jumping up and down in my head demanding attention. It's less multiple personality and more The Muppet Show, though.
