Friending

I was just talking to someone on the phone in a professional capacity and she was so nice. A lovely, friendly, happy, interesting, entertaining person. The type of person I instantly wanted to be friends with. I wanted to say "Please be my friend" but decided it would be far too creepy and stalkerish.

I've decided that reality needs an "Add to Friends List" button.

I have met people like that, and instantly wanted to say, your nice, will you be my friend. But your right, it is rather stalkeresk and creepy.

Oh, yes! It's seldom, isn't it, but when you meet those people, it's a fab thing. I was at a get-together not long ago and met a lady like that. We were both busy, so it was just scattered things here and there, but it was a great thing.

It's funny how hard it is to say, Hey, I want your number, let's do lunch! It's the stalker thing, sure, but also, what if there's some weirdness that's not apparent, and then you'll be so disappointed *g*

It's better to just hold the fantasy, I figure.
