Having heard nothing back from Macmillan New Writing after the due date, I have now fired The Penitent off to the Amazon New Breakthrough Novel award. Well, you never know!
Well I got the thing in, I think (I hope). They have reached their 5,000 entries as of this morning- I subbed mine last night. I am now awaiting a receipt mail which could take up to 48 hours. So I guess I'll see.
