A bit of a strange day today. My son went back to school and into Senior Infants - so big and grown up! My husband went back to work after his parental leave for the last month. My daughter went back to creche yesterday. As I am not back to work until next week, I am sitting in an unnaturally quiet house with a fairly surprised cat. He keeps coming over to check I am actually here, that I am actually me, and then goes back to the sunny window to attack the wooden roses. As you do when you're a cat. He looks both startled and annoyed when I shout at him to stop.

So I have about 3 hours to myself. I have a crit to do and then I think I will attempt some of this thing called writing. It intrigues me! :D

Well, that and snacking. Diet doesn't really happen until work, does it????

And do all the internet surfing I keep forgetting to do!

I got the crit done anyway, and a little bit typed up this afternoon. The first day of school went very well for my boy and he really enjoyed getting back to his friends.
