Sorry, but it's that rarest of all things; an SF series with an ensemble cast, precisely NONE of whom have anything resembling a redeeming feature (yes, that's overly harsh, but at base I like NONE of the characters - compare and contrast with, say, Firefly).

I know Torchwood is trying to be, like, all edgy'n'shizzle, but frankly it just irritates me. Captain Jack is a great foil in Doctor Who, but immensely less interesting with only a bunch of rather whiny humans around him.
